Some musical individual should play this for us and download a video, if they have a strong stomach obviously........

Come with me, back to the 1980s--you know want to.
by FlyingHighNow ini don't know about ya'll, but i did not appreciate the 1980s enough.
i was too busy lamenting how different they were from the 1960s and 1970s to bask in and appreciate how wonderful they were.. this is 80s music, especially new wave music, and 80s fashion and culture appreciation thread.
what did you love about the 80s?

Born in the 70's, grew up in the 80's, drunk in the nineties
I was a die hard Duran Duran fan, while my sister worshiped at the alter of the devils....aka...Culture Club Our shared bedroom and the poster space allocated caused some humdinger rows let me tell you......I still have the origonal Duran scarf from 1985 in my undies drawer hahaha......
I had my first kiss to the extended version of Blue Monday by New Order DD! (althought it only lasted 3 seconds not 6mins haha)
It was all about the music, and what you wore....my favourite being my ra-ra skirt and rainbow roller boots.......
A very happy time for me, blue eyeshadow, trying to look like Madonna, loving Bon Jovi, then the slippery slope into Rainbow, Deep Purple, The Scorpions, ACDC, Dio, and I don't remember much after that

Oh Kefalonia is wonderful, I went on my honeymoon there in 2000.......you must try the local Kleftico, a wonderful flavoursome slow cooked lamb dish (unless you are a vegetarian, in which case, avoid at all costs!), and be sure to get to Turtle beach, a once in a lifetime place........it gets chilly in the evenings so take a light jacket, and whatever you do, enjoy xxxxxx

How do we set up a "Used New Bike Fund" for Terry?
by BucketShopBill inis there any way we can try to start a crowd-fund to help terry get some wheels quicker than he currently can?
with craigslist and a couple of bucks from a few members we can help terry get moving.
does anyone have any ideas how we can do a "theists for terry" bike fund raiser and challenge the atheists to a bucket-head challenge?
